Today I saw an actual whale! It was amazing. His name was Tiaki and he is a Sperm whale. I can’t believe I actually got to see him. I traveled to Pikora on the East Coast of the South island. It took about half hour for our boat to travel to the site where Tiaki was last seen. It was then about another tense 15 mins before he surfaced for air. it was really incredible just being able to see the top of him in the water and puffts as he cleared his blow hole.
Omg! omg! omg!

One really great thing about New Zealand is playing Lord Of The Rings. Today I took a trip to the Hobbiton movie set just outside of Matamata where they filmed the shire scenes from the movies.
Im in new Zealand and it really is quite spectacular. I was so sad to leave South East Asia after the past 8 months of traveling. It was a really incredible time. At first New Zealand seemed so exciting with its familiar shops, foods and western looking people. I was happily surprised when a car actually stopped at a Zebra crossing and I could cross the road. Really?
I love how crazy Hong Kong is. It always reminds me of a city out of Pokemon. It can get a bit boring after you’ve looked around all the shops. Its very expensive for accommodation and food too. Its impossible to even imagine the wealth of this place. I’v lost count of the amount of Cartier stores there are. Its just one huge expensive brand next to another and then repeat. Quite a contrast to most other cities I’v traveled. No wonder I can only afford to eat noodle pot meals here.
The Temples of Angkor are spectacular! After meeting up with Bells again in Siem Reap we brought a 3 day temple pass and have been exploring theses extraordinary buildings. Its really fun finding a new temple and exploring them all. I love the mysterious ruin of Ta Prohm, or most commonly known as the Tomb Raider temple.
Im so in love with this country that I decided I owe it to Cambodia to face up to its past. Yesterday I traveled to Phnom Penh and today I visited the Killing Fields and Genocide Museum. It’s got to be the saddest place I have ever been and Im not ashamed to admit that I cried my eyes out.
Now I like living dangerously just as much as anyone else really. I can be pretty reckless but today was a little bit silly. Me and my new friend, Fabien, decided to visit some caves. We hired a tuk tuk driver who took us there.
I love Cambodia and Kampot is my reason why.
I arrived here three days ago and have had the most amount of fun. I have made friends with a French Boy called Fabien on the minibus on the way over from Ortes Beach. He is very sweet and rather charming.
Hello. Im writing this because I am scared. Its very dark and thundery and yesternight someone came into my beach hut but I managed to scare them away.
But what if they come back?
