“best friend, best friends, never ever break friends, if you do, i’l flush you down the loo”
Its quite strange traveling in Asia for such a long time. I’m quite used to feeling like a giant now. Most people here are so slender and slim. In a way I’m quite excited about the thought of being in New Zealand in October. I read recently that it has one of the highest obesity rates in the world. Its not that I’m really tall or overweight…I just don’t want to feel like an oddity so much. A lady recently described my curly hair as like noodle soup. Its not even dark brown/black like everyone else’s. I know its good to be different but it does make buying clothes a tad harder. Oh well. Heres to Noodle Soup hair!
Wombat is my small fluffy travel companion. He comes on some on my biggest adventures with me. He’s a bit fussy about food so can’t say he’s found traveling easy but thought he deserved a post showing some of his best pics. I also happened to come across another blog featuring a wombat who travels. Check him out to, he looks like he’s having a great time…Traveling Wombat
A few weeks ago I met some really cool people in Nha Trang. We drank lots and as a result I learnt about the Onion Man! At first I thought he was made up. He certainly sounded like a myth, but it turns out he is real…and worse…he is here with me now!
You see the Onion man is what stops you sleeping when you’ve had too much to drink. He is that something in the corner of your eye that makes you restless and uncomfortable. There is no way of getting rid of him. He’s just there. He can look different to different people. I’v drawn my Onion man, turns out he is quite a poser!
…without the smoking bit
Not feeling so great so taking it easy for the day. Geeze my life is hard sometimes.
Yesterday night I had a dream about knitting a book and last night I dreamt my Mum was running for the Labour Party. I’m scared my imagination is running out.
I ate cheese before bed and everything!
